Georgi Thorns founded Northern Heights Dance & Aerial in February 2019 and would like to introduce herself!

  • Georgi has trained in dance since she was 2 years old at Robinson Read, QES, BBO & the Hammond School.

  • She completed her BA (Hons) Degree in Dance and Aerial Performance at Edge Hill University.

  • Georgi also successfully gained a Master’s Degree in Dance Performance & Choreography at the University of Bedfordshire.

  • Georgi has been teaching dance and aerial professionally for nearly 10 years!

  • She has even taught in a circus in Pennsylvania, USA teaching everything from silks and hoop to flying trapeze!

  • Georgi has performed with professional dance companies 3rd Edge and The Ensemble all over the UK and in Washington, USA.

  • She is also a professional aerialist, having performed aerial hoop, silks, stilts and fire at many corporate events.

  • She has recently become a certified Acrobatic Arts Teacher (passing her exam with 100%!)

  • Georgi believes everyone deserves the chance to fly high!
